Editorial Review:
Don't let your food stick it to you. This 12" everyday pan with a brilliant mirror-polished exterior features a Quantanium? nonstick surface, reinforced with titanium to ensure lasting food release and easy, hassle-free cleanup. An aluminum encapsulated base heats quickly and evenly, cooking food to perfection. Limited lifetime warranty.
Enhance your existing Chef's Classic set with this versatile, 12-inch everyday pan, or give it as a gift to someone whose kitchen space is limited. You can cook practically anything in this superb specialty piece. Simmer soup, fry chicken, stir-fry vegetables, cook pancakes, and even bake casseroles. The two loop-style, riveted stainless-steel handles make the shape more compact for fitting in an oven, and the domed glass lid conveniently lets you monitor what's cooking. Chef's Classic cookware handsomely serves at the table, too. Cuisinart constructs this pan of hard-anodized aluminum, which is even stronger than stainless steel, with an encapsulated pure aluminum core for quick, even heating. The interior features Cuisinart's Quantanium nonstick finish, a high-quality, long-lasting finish internally reinforced with titanium. Little oil or butter is needed when cooking on this ultra-smooth surface, and low to medium heat is recommended, along with non-metal utensils. The piece is oven-safe to 500 degrees F and should be washed only by hand. Cuisinart covers this pan with a lifetime limited warranty against defects. --Ann Bieri

Summary: AN UPDATE + I'M BACK TO PURCHASE AGAIN Comment: First purchased this item in March of 2007. I have used this item since receiving it from one to three times a day and finally it has about had it. This has been my everyday use frying/cooking pan for almost two years and I must also state I handwashed it with liquid Joy and always tend to overuse the necessary amount...which means this pan has stood up to harsh multiple daily washings and daily cooking sessions...I am back to purchase two...when you find a non-stick pan with easy to handle handles that you can also put in the oven that can stand up to repetitive harsh handwashings for this length of time...you want to keep using that model...at least I do...never did use the lid so can't speak for that...all in all a great pan at a great price. Customer Rating: Summary: Pan Comment: I have used this pan often since purchasing it. I even allow my teenage child to cook in it. I have burned food in the pan but it is still doing fine....the food didn't make it. Customer Rating: Summary: *~Great Pan & Great Price!*~ Mabuhay:) Comment: Hi Everyone. I received this just yesterday with Amazon's Prime Membership Trial. You get FREE 2 day deliveries for 30 days. Anyhow, I purchased this pan in addition to my adonized set, stainless steel set & my recently purchased stainless steel non stick set. I wanted an extra large pan to replace a ginormous Cuisinart pan I purchased from Dillards a couple years ago.(I would have had the pan for a few more years more than likely if it hadn't been for the "genius" guest of a family member visiting who sprayed oven cleaner on the nonstick portion!) The pan is a bit lighter but do not let that dissuade you from the cooking abilities of this cookware. I have already made steak w/ onions & mushrooms to bacon & eggs with it this morning & I have to admit it's great. The eggs actually cooperated with me this morning & slid onto the other side flawlessly after turning. The bacon cooked evenly & quickly on medium high & last night the steak & veggies were cooked in under 20 minutes at medium well. I love that the lid is glass so that you can monitor your meal without releasing the heat & shortening cooking time. I do have to say that I was apprehensive at first but after using it.. it will be my everyday pan. Gave it 4 stars since I think that the handles could've been thicker. To those that cook large meals, this is perfect. From my own Irish, Spanish & Filipina background...serving adobo, caldereta, menudo & etc. will be a breeze:) Merry Christmas & Happy New Year! Customer Rating: Summary: Best value pan Comment: I've owned the Cuisinart nonstick everyday pan for almost 2 years (bought it in February 2007), and it quickly became my go-to pan for virtually anything I saute, fry, or braise. I have a repetoire of braised chicken dishes and this pan accommodates a whole cut-up 3 to 4 lb chicken with no problem. It browns foods beautifully, as when I prepare chicken for braising or make chicken cutlets and breaded fish fillets. I use it to create myriad pasta sauces, as the wide 12-inch pan helps evaporate liquid fast and concentrates flavors. I love the glass domed lid, which, again, is wonderful for all the braised chicken dishes I make in that I can see how the food is cooking and adjust the heat without opening the lid to look. This is really the best pan of its type for the price I paid, which in 2007 was $25. A true best value. Customer Rating: Summary: Just What I Was Looking For Comment: When I shopped for a replacement for my old scratched non-stick pan, I weighed the pros and cons of other brands. I am so pleased with the performance of this pan. The even heat does a great job for frying, and cleanup is easy. The see-thru lid is also a plus. It is the first Cuisinart product I have purchased and I will certainly recommend it to anyone. Related Items
