Summary: Delayed gratification
Comment: Purchased this as a Christmas present for a friends son. He didn't get to use it until just a few weeks ago. It was a huge hit. He loves how high it goes and that he is able to manipulate it himself (he's five) without any help from his older brother!! My friend has told me that every boy on the block is calling to find out where they can get one.

Summary: rocket launcher
Comment: My 6 year old really loves this toy. Close supervision is needed for safety as the rocket launches with a lot of force. It really goes up high which is very exciting. As long as the launcher is level (as it should be) the rocket will come down close to where it is launched and lands safely- it wouldn't hurt you if it bumped into you and it is easy enough to move out of the way any way. If the plastic tube is not connected just right, you will not be able to pump it up to full pressure and therefore, the rocket won't launch as high.

Summary: Great no mess, no danger rocket!
Comment: We got this for our soon to be seven year old son. We put it together quickly and easily and out to the backyard we went to give it a go.

I expected it to zoom up to the height of the treetops or roof and quickly retire to a corner of the garage until the next major garage cleaning. Well, my son pumped it up with great gusto, hit the button to let 'er rip and we all watched as it rocketed up straight and true, past the roof line, past the tree tops, until it was a teeny-tiny dot in the sky! While my husband and I were retrieving our jaws from the patio and our son was grinning wider than I thought possible, down came the rocket about twenty feet from the launch pad. Awesome! He plays with it a lot!

The good:
It goes really, really high
It doesn't hurt if it makes its landing on a person
It's easy to knock out of trees with a broom and doesn't get stuck very often since it flys down top first
It's holding up nicely to an enthusiastic seven year old

The bad:
It goes really, really high, so a good breeze can send it off course. It does take a pretty stiff breeze though

Overall we love it and for the money and safety for younger kids it can't be beat!

Summary: Safe Rocket Fun
Comment: This rocket is great because it is safe. Your child can go out and launch it without supervision. It really launches well and goes quite high, but takes a lot of pumping action to go very high. It works best on a firm, flat surface (not grass). The rocket makes a soft landing and doesn't hurt anything (or anyone). Our 11 year old son loves it, and his 4 siblings love to watch it and retrieve the rocket. Lots of family fun!
