Summary: The laughter that will follow makes it well worth the price!
Comment: I got this as a gag gift for my mother who is a hard core Cat Lady (not to mention crazy she is!) The packaging on the reverse offers a quiz to determine if one is a "Crazy Cat Person". The laughter that will follow in reading them makes this gift well worth it for the laughs alone!

I got this in Borders for $8.99 with a coupon which brought it down further. In this case, it's cheaper going into the retailer as you save on shipping.

The reason I put 5 stars by the educational value is it's a wonderful learning tool in teaching children the importance in spaying/neutering animals and the unfortunate results of what can become of them if not, resulting in stray animals as well as some of the breeders and puppy mills that contribute to the horror of it all.

I also thought this would be a fun toy for my daughter to play with when she visits her nana.

Can't wait to see the expression on my mother's face!

Comment: I purchased The Cat Lady to send to a friend who is - well - a Cat Lady! (She even LOOKS like the toy). I thought it would make a nice joke for any lady who owns anything over three cats. And I think both she and her family saw the funniness in it, and enjoyed it. It would have never occurred to me to give it to a child, though. But I may be wrong, and there may be more Little Cat Girls around than I fathom.

Comment: My wife and I have 6 cats and she oftens refers to herself as, "The crazy cat lady of XXXX street," so when I saw it mentioned in The Des Moines Register, I had to have it. My wife thinks it's cute and funny.

I'd call it an adult toy because of the subject matter and the six cats packed with it are fairly small.

It's a great gift for the cat lover in one's life!
