An integrated speaker booster provides substantially higher volume capacity than is common in other headsets. Plus, echo-canceling technology alleviates those annoying voice feedback loops that are common with lesser headsets. An exchangeable ear-loop and eye/sunglasses attachment lets you place the headset where it's most convenient, while handy controls on the device allow you to voice dial, as well as to answer, mute, reject, and transfer calls. A charging cradle ships with the scala-500, offering fast recharging of the headset's internal battery. A carry sleeve is included as well, letting you carry the scala-500 on your belt or around your neck. And last but not least, the scala-500 is Bluetooth 1.2 compliant.

Summary: Broken Comment: One of the headsets is broken. I returned the headset by mail and they claim they did not receive it. Customer Rating: Summary: Cardo Systems SCALA 500 Bluetooth Headset Comment: I was forced to return this item directly to cardo because of a defective battery. I purchased this headset because of two prior headsets I had from them which served my faithfully until I dropped one in water and lost the other one. This one works quite well. BTW, I have also found the one I lost, so now I have two! As to the cost, the shipping was expensive, but the unit was well priced. Customer Rating: Summary: Domme Vixen-toys Comment: I purchased this awhile back and it worked all of two months. I was not pleased with the product because it didn't stand to the hype it promoted. I've had several other bluetooth earpieces but none are comparable to the Scala 500. I highly reccommend this product, you won't be dissapointed. The sound quality I would rate as better than good but not excellent. Voices on the end of the unit come in a bit high, but not disturbing. So far no complaints from the party on the opposite side. Ease of use is a easy. Fashion wise it may not be most alluring but I still feel comfortable wearing it. I have owned the Voyager 510 and have had it replaced countless times by the mfr, which btw good customer service on their part. Their BTH however is horrible. Jawbone went back two days after trying it out, by far the worst and most expensive. Give this one a shot do not let the low price fool you. You will be surprised.
