-Inexpensive... we bought two
-Effective, large suction cups, holds a surprising amount of weight once attached
-Easy to relocate, just lift the tabs on either end and it pops off
-Leaves no scratches or other permanent marks
-Big, beefy handle is easy to grab

Con:
-I could see the release tabs being problematic to lift to release the unit if you have arthritis in your hands
-Personal pet peeve: the aqua color of the tabs is ugly... sorry if this is picky, but it is true
-The light color on a white surface could be a con for those with bad eye sight... please offer other colors (e.g. black or yellow?)

Bottom line: highly recommended. Buy more than one.

Comment: I sprained my knee years ago and it is still difficult getting out of the tub. I attached the handle to the wall at an angle and use it everytime I get out of my bath. You may have to attach and detach it a couple of times to get the right height and postion. But it is worth it.

Comment: We purchased two of the item Mommy's Helper Safer Grip 11.5" for use in visiting our son with my elderly mother. The grips provided her with security from falling in the shower. Used only to steady herself, the grips remained in place and could easily be repositioned prior to the shower and/ or removed at the end of the shower. We are very pleased with this product.

Comment: This is only my 2nd review. I'm so happy with this Grip, I just had to share my experience with others.

I have a medical problem that makes it easy for me to lose my balance. I have been afraid I'd fall in the shower; especially since I'm alone a lot. I got this item and it has made a world of difference. I now have something to hold on to so I can steady myself. I'm so satisfied with it, I'm ordering 3 more. (One each for my handicapped sister, elderly mother and mother-in-law.)

I put it on my shower wall (ceramic tile,) flipped down the tabs and it was on GOOD. I had my husband pull on it and it held firm. It's been over a week and it's still stuck as tightly as ever. I know some of these suction grips lose their grip after a short period of time. But the suction cups on this really do suck!
