Comment: I began taking Arnica Montana (4 pills, 4x a day) a few days before major surgery. Considering the extent of the surgery, there was virtually no bruising, even after the anesthesiologist told me that the IV he had placed in one vein prior to surgery was going to cause extensive bruising. It didn't! In fact, it was almost impossible to FIND the bruise. I can only attribute that to the Arnica Montana. I highly recommend it. It doesn't conflict with any meds the doctor might prescribe, and the medical community seems VERY well aware of, and very much in favor of, this product.

Summary: I Tried it and Like It
Comment: I had some cosmetic surgery and my Physician, Dr. Cuzalina gave me Arnica Montana 30X and told me it was for bruising and swelling. I took it, and started noticing the big bruises all over my hands and arms were disappearing. I will still bruise, but they normally are less than dime size rather than silver dollar size, and they heal sooo much faster. I started searching the internet and found Arnica Montana 30X on Amazon. It was so inexpensive that I bought 3 bottles. My friends noticed my arms and hands looking so good and they wanted to try it. Needless to say, they took 2 of my bottles and I am now making my second purchase of 3 more bottles.

Summary: Simple remedy for trauma and shock
Comment: I originally started using homeopathic arnica because of all the bumps and bruises that my children would get. If they would fall down and start crying, they wanted "Mommy's little sugar pills" because they knew they would make them feel better. They also really like the way the way the tablets taste because they are a little bit of milk sugar that quickly dissolves in the mouth.

Arnica is good for any type of trauma and shock. We even use it successfully with jet lag, because there is a certain amount of trauma and shock associated with traveling.

When I had surgery, I was able to avoid all post surgical pain medication with the use of arnica. The nurses were astounded, and thought I was one of the toughest people they had ever met. A top plastic surgery clinic in Indianapolis even recommends arnica before and after the surgery!

This is one remedy I always make sure I have in my purse. I once heard someone say "God made arnica so we would learn about natural medicine."

If you are new to homeopathic remedies, it is best if the remedy is not touched. So I simply tip the bottle over into the lid and then tip the lid into the mouth, or a bit of water. It's also best if the you don't eat or drink anything else 15 minutes before or after taking a homeopathic remedy.

If you have small children, I also recommend Hyland's Teething Tablets, 125 tablets (Pack of 4), and Hyland's Colic Tablets, 125 tablets (Pack of 3).

Summary: Healthy alternative to anti-imflammatories
Comment: Someone turned me on to Arnica more than 10 years ago when I was suffering from a severe flare-up of the tendinitis in my shoulder. I didn't want to take any more Aleve, because all that naproxsen sodium is bad for your body, but I was in severe pain and couldn't move my arm. I left the job site and went straight to a health food store and in 2 days, I was moving my arm better than I had since the injury 2 years prior. I started looking in homeopathy (which literally means "like with like", you treat a symptom with something, that in it's raw form, would cause the same symptom) and other natural remedies after that. Arnica Montana is used to help reduce swelling and inflammation (symptoms of excess blood flow to an area) and has become a staple in my medicine cabinet for any back or knee pain. I recommend it to EVERYONE! My son has used it when coming home from with pain from rough activities and just recently my 83 yr old mother took a very bad fall and her doctor recommended Arnica to help reduce the bruising and inflammation. Everyone should be using this product.
