Summary: Excellent instrument Comment: The small size is most welcome and much less obtrusive than older models. The unit is easy to set up. Recommended for a good, all-purpose weather unit. Customer Rating: Summary: Worth the price Comment: Highly recommended! We purchased this weather station based on a recommendation from someone who owned more sophisticated LaCrosse model. We are very pleased with its accuracy, well-sized display, and the ease of setting it up. There have been some negative feedbacks regarding the timing of programming this device. My recommendation would be to read the Quick Set-up directions first to program the transmitter. Then, program the transmitter step by step using the Quick Set-up. AFTER the transmitter is programmed, THEN follow the more sophisticated directions to set the time zone, time, etc. Customer Rating: Summary: Substandard quality abd support Comment: Complicate procedure for setting up multi senors. Weather forecast icon hardly works. Support service (by email) is disapponting - Twice I sent email questions regarding some operational problems; it took three weeks to get a response after repeated follow-ups. (However, I have never tried their phone service.) Customer Rating: Summary: Excellent weather station in a compact package. Comment: The second La Crosse weather station I have owned - easy to set up and program, and very accurate, too. A very fair price for all of the features included. Finally, the moon phases are shown in white, and not the reverse as in past stations!! Customer Rating: Summary: Great gadget Comment: This is a great gadget. You may want to buy an extra remote temperature sensor, because you're going to want two or three of them for different locations (the dog house, the greenhouse, sunny porch versus shaded porch, etc.)
